A push for manufactured diversity and the impeachment polka.

The hour of 12 noon having arrived and a corn being present, the sergeant and arms will

present the managers on the part of the House of Representatives. Even though it's only been a month

or so since the impeachment vote, it feels like it's been forever and that we've been waiting

a very, very long time for this trial to actually begin. I announce the presence of the managers

on the part of the House of Representatives to conduct proceedings on behalf of the House,

concerning the impeachment of Donald John Trump, president of the United States.

So around noon today, the House managers, the seven people who were chosen to represent the

House in this impeachment trial, they were escorted into the Senate chambers by the Sergeant at Arms.

The sergeant at Arms will make the proclamation. And then the sergeant at Arms does the thing where

he says, here he is, here he he, here he he, all persons are commanded to keep silent on the pain

of imprisonment. While the House of Representatives is exhibiting to the Senate of the United States,

articles of impeachment against Donald John Trump, president of the United States.

And representative Adam Schiff, who is leading the House managers, he went up to the

lectern and basically read out the articles of impeachment. House resolution 755,

impeaching Donald John Trump, president of the United States for high crimes and misdemeanors.
