I had already booked Tammy Bruce,

And so maybe, I don't know, 90 minutes before the show,

I've got Marco Rubio's top press person,

and meanwhile, Rubio is exploding in the news.

I mean, he's dealing with Ukraine.

He's dealing with all kinds of foreign policy crises.

And then it turns out that he, along with J.D. Vance, was able to negotiate a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, which seemed to be

escalating. These are two nuclear powers. And it seems to have held. So I'm scribbling and, you know,

making changes, figuring, okay, this just happened, I'm going to lead with it,

I'm going to push these other things now, maybe it won't have time for this. I mean, these are all

the calculations that go into doing live TV. And sometimes you just luck out that I happen to have

a book drawer, although, you know, probably the guy who's now

both Secretary of State and White House National Security Advisor would be in the news somehow,

but this was pretty dramatic stuff.
