Summary
Donald Trump pushed Kirstjen Nielsen out of her role as DHS secretary over the weekend. While she was unspeakably cruel in her pursuit of Trump's agenda, she wasn't willing to go as far as Trump wanted. Which should scare the hell out of us when the NEXT DHS Secretary is appointed. Whoever it is will be far more cruel than her.
Democrats are fighting to get Trump's tax returns. The Trump team is pushing back and saying that this will "be the hill that they die on." Of all the issues out there to fight for, this is the hill that they'll die on? Says a lot about the Republican party.
