Just a quick trigger warning before we get started.

Because Donald was on the telephone during the interview for which we're playing clips,

we were not able to alter his voice.

So hang on to your hats.

All right.

We all know that Donald handles criticism so incredibly badly because he's a deeply, deeply damaged and immature human being.

This morning, when he turned, tuned into CNBC's Squawk Box to speak with anchor Joe Kernan,

who is generally considered to be mostly pro Donald, it was clear that Donald expected

the usual kid glove treatment and softball

interview that he has come to rely upon, especially when sitting down with a Republican ally.

Instead, Donald Ren headfirst into something he did not expect. Somebody who usually

bends over backwards to accommodate him and let him lie

unimpeded, actually fact-checked him in real time. Kernan wasn't grandstanding. He wasn't out to pick a

fight. He simply refused to allow Donald to lie throughout the interview and refused to allow Donald to steamroll the conversation

with an unending stream of false claims. Carnan pushed back. He was calm. He was firm. He was

professional. But he insisted upon fact-checking in real time, holding the line as Donald became more flustered

and combative.

The longer the interview dragged on, the more off balance Donald actually seemed.

I think the look on Kernan's face pretty much says it all.

Where do you get the notion that it's rigged or do you have any evidence there?

Smart people know it. People with common sense know it. And obviously... The numbers were rigged. The numbers were rigged. Some of them, but... Yeah. You have nothing to do with directing the Justice Department, and... I have to check on that. It was a rigged election. 100% rigged.

We don't need to relitigate that either. But they expect fact-checking immediately. Joe, why don't you check it? Okay. Why don't you check it, Brian? The fact-checkers expect us to check everything you say on the phone. We can't relitigate because it's- And I'm sure that's going to be brought so it's even your Justice Department, but then I'm bringing up Bill Barr, but even they decided that there wasn't, there were, you know, things that happened, but nothing that would have swayed it. I'd like you to. I got the highest vote in the history of Texas, as you probably know. And we are entitled to five more seats. I don't know. I don't know that either.
