evening everybody it is seven p.m in the evening here in Paris on Bastille Day. I recorded this podcast yesterday, Saturday afternoon

while I was still in Turkey and I thought I was done, but I woke up this morning to the news that there was an assassination attempt on

Donald Trump while I was asleep and so I thought it was important that I comment on this story. So I'm

recording this segment to be the introduction to the podcast that you're about to

see as soon as I'm finished discussing this topic.

You know, I've talked on this podcast about the fact that I believe that Donald Trump was

going to be reelected, that was you know the odds were very

strong in his favor and the one good thing that might have come out of this

attempt on Donald Trump's life is I think this assures of this

assures that he's gonna win. I mean if he wasn't gonna win before he's

certainly gonna win now I mean just that photograph that iconic photograph of President Trump

with a bloodied ear with his fist raised high in the air

with the American flag waving in the background could be one of the most famous photographs

and I think that image alone is enough to get a lot of people to vote for Donald Trump. The amazing thing though when you look at the

coverage that I've seen on this if you read the mainstream media,

most of the early stories didn't even mention the fact

that there was an attempt on the president's life
