Summary

After voting democrat all her life, Julie Hamill cried when Donald Trump was elected in 2016.  The young lawyer and mother of three also stopped communicating with her Dad, a Republican.  Today, she is a different person with an entirely new perspective.  What happened over the last eight years that led to her about face?   Battling feelings of shame and embarrassment, Julie tells Michele her story.

There are so many people I know who are otherwise intelligent people, but they still have this trumped arrangement syndrome, which is real. I had it. I know what it feels like.

Yeah. And all they can think about is abortion and in issues that I'm sorry, in California, you're never going to have to worry about that. We now have a constitutional right to abortion from start to finish of pregnancy.

But they just can't, they can't think about anything else.

They don't think about the economy or their own children.
