Summary
Trump Declares National Emergency Amid Military Escalation With China, US Ship Expelled China Claims. The president issues an executive order to protect the US electrical grid from foreign adversaries at a time of heightened tensions between the US, Russia, Iran, and China
While this may just be a standard protective measure, China recently claimed they had expelled the US from the South China sea after the US sent two warships into the area that China claims it controls.
On top of this a recent leaked intel report shows US allies are in agreement with the US assessment about China lying to cover up the pandemic.
While this could just be saber rattling some are concerned that war between the US and China is inevitable. Maybe we won't see world war three, maybe this will just end as minor tensions, but hopefully the result is not what we fear it may be.

| 0:00.0 | Donald Trump has just declared a national emergency and issued an executive order in an effort to |
| 0:05.3 | protect the US power grid from foreign adversaries. There's a fear that our national security and our |
| 0:11.1 | economy could be compromised by someone targeting our electrical systems. Now this might just be a |
| 0:16.1 | standard preventative measure, but it's coming amid growing military tensions between the US and China. |
| 0:21.8 | For the longest time, people have said that we are entering a cold war with China and due to |
| 0:26.4 | something called Thucydides trap, people fear that as China rises in global power, eventually a war |
| 0:32.4 | will break out between the US and China. And it certainly seems like we're closer than ever. |
| 0:37.6 | Recently in the South China Sea, China sent a strike group near Taiwan. The US responded by sending |
| 0:43.6 | warships. Now China is claiming they have expelled a US naval warship and the US Navy says that's |
| 0:49.8 | not true. But ever since a US aircraft carrier had to evacuate most of its personnel due to the |
| 0:55.6 | coronavirus, there's been a concern that the US looks weak and China will take advantage. But it's |
| 1:00.6 | not just about the military and it's not just about the US and China. There are many other countries |
| 1:04.4 | involved. A new leaked intel report shows several countries believing China is covering up the extent |
| 1:11.2 | of the coronavirus, allowing them to escape responsibility, but also resulting in massive damage to |
| 1:16.7 | many other countries. I may be connecting dots that should not be connected. So I don't want to |
| 1:22.0 | pretend like this is all part of one big growing military escalation or Cold War or potential for |
| 1:28.4 | World War III. But it does seem to me that these things are at least connected a little bit. For years, |
| 1:34.4 | people have written that war is coming. And maybe it won't come. Maybe what we're seeing is just a |
| 1:40.4 | little bit of Cold War saber rattling. But it does seem like this emergency declaration has to do |
| 1:47.4 | with fears that we're entering a very real conflict. I mean, the US is saying China is engaging in |
| 1:52.0 | nuclear testing. China is denying it and it's hard to know who to trust. We have also heard from |
| 1:58.6 | Mike Pompeo as well as many others that the US educational system has been infiltrated by China |
