Meanwhile, Trump was in Rome this past weekend, of course, for Pope Francis's

funeral. And it felt a bit like, I mean, maybe it's me, but it felt a bit like a mob movie where,

you know, Trump met with President Zelensky in this large empty room at the basilica and so on.

Here, let me show you what that picture looks like.

I mean, right?

Doesn't it look like it's a sit-down?

Michael Corleone, well, with somebody?

I don't know.

But he also then went ahead and he posted this on Truth Social.

In it, he turns around and he says,

just landed in Rome. a good day in talks

and meetings with Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to a deal and the two sides should now meet

at very high levels to finish it off. Most of the major points are agreed to. Stop the bloodshed now.

We will be wherever is necessary to help

facilitate the end to this cruel and senseless war. You know, there's so much that needs to be

dissected from that bullshit. Let me be very clear. Russia has not come to the table.

We know that because Trump is pissed about it.
