no ordinary race. Janet Proto-Sewitz campaigned four abortion rights and against Republican

Jerry Mander election maps. She gives progressives on that court a majority to support one and

overturn the other. Chicago also voted for change. Having already unseated Mayor Laurie Lightfoot,

they voted for Brandon Johnson who was the more progressive of two candidates in runoff.

And also last night, a candidate for president gave a speech.
