President Donald Trump has issued a new call to Republicans to nationalize the elections.

And look, on a related note, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has also looked at the elections.

He's saying Democrats will do everything they can to stop efforts on voter ID.

With the midterm elections around the corner, President Donald Trump has issued a brand new call.

He wants to literally, in his own words, nationalize the elections.

Now, Fox News says this. President Donald Trump urged Republicans to take over and nationalize voting on Monday.

It said Trump made the comments during an interview with former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bonjino.

It notes under the Constitution, state set the rules for both federal and state elections,

establishing the, quote, times, places, and manner of holding

elections for the House of Representatives and the Senate, which is going to be problematic

for Trump trying to nationalize them, by the way. In terms of my take on this, that used to be the standard. In reality, of course, a lot of this

changed during the pandemic. Universal mail and ballots, ballot drop boxes, elections, security

initiatives. A lot of that started during the pandemic. And a lot of that really also happened in

2024.
