We're not going to talk to congressional Democrats until they reopen the government.

What I've said is we are not going to give in on policy demands under the threat of hostage taking.

I mean, if any moderate Democrat or any Democrat period from the United States Senate wants to comb over,

they're welcome to walk into these doors in an hour.

I'm happy to talk to them

about how to end the government shutdown.

I was Vice President J.D. Vance yesterday at the White House, as the government shutdown is about

to directly impact the lives of 42 million Americans. The question is, if everyone's saying

they're willing to meet, why aren't they just meeting? Meanwhile, President Trump is calling on Senate Republicans to take the nuclear option to end the shutdown,

just as lawmakers had been hopeful about an off-fram.

The question is, does the president even want a deal?

Plus, Senate Democrats are demanding information on the Trump administration's deadly boat strikes

after they were left out of a recent briefing.

The question is, where's the transparency that this administration so likes to promote?
