The Trump administration's attacks on our democracy just this week alone is stunning.

We have a White House press secretary saying that Trump is floating the idea of deporting American citizens.

We have a secretary of state issuing a one and a half page memo to an immigration court saying that a student should be deported based on his beliefs, so not in a criminal activity.

We have the White House saying

they want to legally control a major university and yet another executive order targeting a law

firm for representing a defamation case that Trump didn't like. My name is Dean Adol with a

Midas Touch Network. Let's break this down. Straight out of

an authoritarian regime playbook, the Trump University is targeting a core part of our society,

our universities. He's targeting them because of their DEI policies, because of their

transgender athletes, because of campus protests, he's going after and canceling

student visas. Students with visas are being snatched off the street by ICE. This is creating

real fear among students. Major universities like UCLA are having to send out letters updating

the community and the number of visas of students that the Trump

administration is going after. This kind of fear is how you control a society. And the case of

Mahmoud Khalil perhaps received the most high profile attention of all of these examples.

He was a student at Columbia University who was involved in the campus

protest, and in fact, he was considered the facilitator between the students and the campus.

That is why his name was on record. Most of the student protesters didn't have their name on

record because it wasn't very popular always to be a member of that protest, but he had his name

on record, and so the Trump

administration was able to go after him. A Louisiana administrative judge just said that
