It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

There's absolutely no question that Donald Trump is down on the polls, but the way in which it's reported is misleading.

So you see this constant drumbeat of headlines.

Trump drops to lowest point yet. So, for example,

he was down to 33%, I think, in an AP poll. Yesterday, Washington Post ABC poll had him at 37%.

And it said lowest point yet. Well, obviously, that's not as low. But every news outlet compares the number to

its previous number. So it might be 35, it might be 33, it might be 37, it might be 38.

And the headlines are all the same. But it's actually not, none of them are good for a second term president but they're actually

you know operating within their own universe meanwhile rudy juliani has checked into the hospital

in critical but stable condition and i know rudy giiani really I mean, I covered him when he was in the Reagan

Justice Department. I covered his first run for mayor, the one he lost. I covered him as

U.S. attorney before that. When I was in New York, I covered his presidential campaign. And he's a,

you know, a singular individual who was riding so high for his leadership

after 9-11. And then he got involved with Trump. And honestly, it kind of ruined his reputation.

So here's what Trump posts. Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a true warrior, best mayor in the history in New York City by far,

has been hospitalized and is in critical condition.

What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the radical left lunatics, Democrats all.

And he was right about everything.

They cheated on the elections,

fabricated hundreds of stories, did everything possible to destroy our nation. And now, look at Rudy,

so sad. Now, the problem is, Giuliani's people haven't disclosed why he's in the hospital,

what it is that he's battling.
