The choice that people are facing in this election is not just

democracy versus that admitted autocrat from January 6th,

although that's important in the Biden campaign

is certainly leaning into that particular contrast.

Nor is the choice about securing the border,

which is an important issue that both parties nominees have actually

discussed a lot and also struggled to do during their respective presidencies.

This election is also in a very big way a choice about capitalism.

The stock market is surging, especially empowered by big tech right now this week but people are rightfully asking where the profits

are going now this is an issue that sometimes does favor Democrats when it comes to

fairness and making mega

millionaires pay their share and combating inequality.

But sometimes the economy also can lean towards Donald Trump,

including voters who say right now, whether you believe it or not,

more voters in the swing state say they think

Trump can better control prices than the current administration.

And this is a clash that separates these two candidates

and has been brewing in our politics for a long time.

We're lowering taxes, which the Republicans love.

I wouldn't be running unless I was really rich.
