He now appears to be going back on his word, instead placing the decision in the hands of his defense secretary.

The change of tune comes as many members of Congress are pushing for the release of the full unedited video of the attack, when the U.S. military launched a follow-up missile after seeing two survivors of the first blast still clinging to the wreckage in the water. Top Democrats who were shown the full footage in a briefing last week
