The number of Americans dead in the coronavirus pandemic

has now topped 173,000 as the country confronts more than 5.5 million confirmed cases.

The outbreak spreading to college campuses right now in at least 17 states resulting in more than a thousand students already

quarantine. Also breaking now we're awaiting excerpts from some of tonight's

speeches just ahead of the final night of the Historic

of Virtual Democratic Convention where Joe Biden will accept the nomination

for President of the United States. Let's begin now over at the White House
