We've been circling around him for a while and I think we're going to jump right back

in.

Once I say something.

I'm joined by Aaron Raport, our resident expert on American foreign policy and by Andrew

Preston, who is a preeminent historian of American foreign policy and of the United States.

He is the author of Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith, which is the definitive history of

the role of religion in America's experience of war and diplomacy.

And so we are going to talk about Donald Trump, religion, war maybe, get on to career

a bit later and diplomacy.

That would be the book of Revelation's book.

Let's start with religion because we are conscious on this show and Trump has a lot

to do with this actually.

I think with maybe other American presidents we would have got to religion by now in our

endless obsessing about, is he different?

Is this a break from the past?

And we've never quite got there.
