What is the state of the Trump administration at this hour?

Well, at some level, Donald Trump is the most powerful president that we've ever seen in the country.

That's in part because the Republicans in the Senate and in the House, a co-equal branch of government, have completely

capitulated to the leader of their faction, which has become a gang and organized conspiracy

for the purposes of holding power to give out favors to the people who finance the elections.

Quid, Pro, Quo, Quo.

So more than anything else, what Donald Trump has achieved during these first couple of months

in office is the wholesale normalization of corruption.

The president of the United States has pilfered billions of dollars, raising his net wealth

for the first time in his life to a number that makes him a real billionaire.

And he did it the old-fashioned way through a form of public graft.

Now, Jared and Ivanka, who left the White House in 2021, an embarrassment and disgrace, have rejoined

fully America's gilded elites. Here they are at the Allen & Company conference. Now, appreciate this about

Jared Kushner. He was unable to secure a classified clearance, and so Donald Trump had to give him

special dispensation. And once he had it, there was no person who was more interested in the nation's

most closely guarded secrets than Jared. He was an insatiable consumer of American intelligence.

And so it came to be six months after the Donald leaves office, Jared Kushner gets $2 billion of investment from the Saudis.

Now, his company is one of the driving vehicles as Trump does hotel deals from Albania to Serbia

and all of the places in the world where the light doesn't shine so brightly. Here at home, the CEO of

CNN, David Zaslov, a business failure who yet pays himself $53 million a year as the head of a public
