0:09.2	disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of today show host Savannah Guthrie. The Pima County
0:14.1	Sheriff's Department says it has detained a person during a traffic stop south of Tucson,
0:19.3	and that person is now being questioned in connection
0:22.1	to the Guthrie investigation. This story has been moving quickly today, so I want to get you
0:26.8	caught up. Earlier this morning, law enforcement released images of a potential suspect in the case.
0:32.7	They show a masked person outside Guthrie's Arizona home last Saturday night. Then just hours ago,
0:39.7	law enforcement went to the neighborhood of Annie Guthrie, Nancy's oldest daughter. They were seen
0:45.2	going house to house and talking to people on the street. Two law enforcement sources tell MS now,
0:50.6	there was also FBI activity in the town of Rio Rico near the Mexican border. Just minutes ago,
0:56.9	we learned from two law enforcement sources that that is where the person was detained. Now I want to
1:02.8	bring in MS Now reporter, Alex Tabett, who was on the ground in Tucson tonight. Let's take a deep
1:09.2	breath. Alex, get us caught up. What do we need to know?
1:14.1	Well, this is thanks to my colleague, our colleague, Mark Santia. We now know that the person
1:19.4	being questioned in the Nancy Guthrie investigation was detained at a traffic stop in Rio Rico,
1:26.2	Arizona, south of Tucson near the border, according to two
1:29.5	law enforcement sources. That's about an hour and a half away from Tucson near the border town
1:37.2	of Nogales, Steph. And it's important to note that we do not yet have any word on the whereabouts of Nancy Guthrie. That is, of course,
1:47.2	a big outstanding question, but we've been seeing developments very quickly today. Just to give
1:53.8	you some context of how quickly, it's about 10 days into this investigation, but since these photos, these images were released from the
2:03.6	Pima County Sheriff's Office and from the FBI, we now have seen that one person is in custody
2:10.2	in relation to this case within less than 10 hours. So a 10-day investigation catalyzed and moving very quickly in less than 10 hours.
