We are following breaking news this morning.

Overnight, the United States has carried out what President Trump calls, quote,

a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicholas Maduro,

who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the country.

Two sources tell MS now that Maduro was taken by U.S. military special operators from Delta Force.

The FBI's hostage rescue team were embedded with them, and the FBI now has custody of Maduro and his wife.

Already, the way we're learning about the event is proving to be complicated.

President Trump called into Fox News just an hour ago to share details of the operation.

He was in a very highly guarded, like a fortress, actually.

He was in a fortress.

You know that we had nobody killed was amazing.

I think we had nobody killed, I have to say, because a couple of guys were hit, but they

came back and they're supposed to be a pretty good shape. But that we

had nobody killed, that we lost no aircraft. You know, everything came back.

We got it all back. One of them was hit pretty hard, but a helicopter,

house that was more like a fortress than a house. It had steel doors. It had what they call

a safety space where it's, you know, solid steel all around. He didn't get that space close. He was trying to get into it,

but he got bumrushed so fast. Now, we're seeking confirmation on all these details right now,

but those were the first details shared on how our troops fared. Trump also said Maduro was

traveling on the USS Iwo Jima, an American warship, which has been in the Caribbean.
