Throughout my many years in media, I have been accused of being a conspiracy theorist every single year,

in fact, probably multiple times per year, for simply trying to investigate something.

I might say, I'm interested in going on the ground and seeing who's involved in organizing these protests.

That's it. And they say, conspiracy theorist Tim Poole thinks

people are organizing. I have been inside these buildings where they coordinate, plan for

violence. And when I say that there are groups that are well funded, I have met them.

They go, that's a conspiracy theory. No, it's not. I've met them. I've seen the paychecks.

These are non-profit employees.

Well, right now, there is a major conspiracy theory that in fact Donald Trump staged the

third assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents Dinner. And you know what reminds me of

it reminds me of interstellar, you know, the movie with Matthew McConaughey, and how his daughter is in school and the teacher is like, the moon landing never happened. We faked it. Now, whatever you think about the moon landing, believe whatever you want, I bring up that movie because it highlights something interesting in

confidence of government. In that film, what they are showing you there is not that we did or

did not land on the moon. Of course, obviously, the pretext is people are wrong. We actually did.

But the interesting concept is when a people collectively decide something is or is not true,

because they have no confidence in government.

In that movie, everybody was starving.

Crops were being destroyed by a blight and they were like, well, we're cooked.

We're going to get dust storms and we're all going to die.

They had no faith the government could actually do anything because the government had largely collapsed.
