Hey guys so there is a new Netflix movie out to call the deliverance.

It's supposed to be based on the Latoya Amens case that happened back in Gary, Indiana

and to be honest with you, I thought the movie was okay as a movie, but I thought

it very poorly represented almost everything that went on in the Aemann case.

I thought she was unfairly depicted in the movie compared to the

way she was in real life. In real life, she was the actual religious fanatic not her mother and that's kind of

you know the problems she would get into making the kids read Bible verses for

punishments and stuff like that.

I've never had any indication that she was verbally abusive as the way it showed in the movie.

I'm not saying she wasn't, I've not had anything that that said that

Most of the stuff in the movie just wasn't anything near real life. Yeah did they take a few of the things from it like the child climbing on the wall and stuff.

Yes, that was something that happened in a social worker did see that.

But you know, most of this I thought was just completely crazy compared to you know to be based on a real life story

I thought there was very little based on the real life so I thought I would replay our

episode here of the Gary Demon House.

We did this back. This is our 39th episode, so we were barely nine months in at the time.

And it's got a follow-up with Steve Asher on there who is a good guest of the show.
