Well, I was also able to speak with Gary last night. He told me that he was not able to prepare a video introduction for me as a guest speaker today, but that he said if he could, he would let everyone know how much he respects me, how much I'm his role model and his favorite guest speaker.

So something, I don't actually remember, but something like that.

So we're going to look into God's Word today.

There have been a lot of weddings around Cornerstone Chapel these past few months.

And so for me, that keeps me busy, probably 75 to 80 sessions of premarital counseling

with all the couples that we've had here at Cornerstone. We ask every couple who wants to get married at Cornerstone to go through

premarital counseling because we know the statistics say that if a couple will go through

premarital counseling, if they will choose not to live together before marriage, if they will attend

church together and pray together, they can drastically reduce their chances of divorce.

So premarital counseling is something that's required for every couple that gets married here.

And so I love meeting with couples for premarital.

They're so excited.

They're so cuddly.

They are in love.

And so it's a lot of fun to work with them.

Beautiful, healthy couples who want good, solid Christian marriages.

But sometimes the counseling, when working with them,

you wonder if anything is sinking in.

Because when you work with couples who did not require any adjustment, sacrifice, or effort to get into your office,

and then you tell them that their marriage is going to require adjustment, effort, and sacrifice,

and you wonder how much they're able to listen to. How much are they able

to absorb? They didn't do anything to get into that in love experience, and yet you're telling
