saw like we need some sound effects so I know it's really you. A cat. A cat. Yeah, was that a cat? Was that

you that had the cat in the background recently? No, that was. Did we figure out who that was? It wasn't me.

That was totally me. Kierrez and I were cracking up laughing, watching all the y'all try to figure out who it was. That was me.

Okay. All right. Well, thanks for your, thanks, you guys, as I was driving up here, I just got into the Circe office 30, I mean,

five minutes ago, but about 30 minutes ago on my drive, I passed an exit.

And on the exit, it said Belmont Abbey College this way.

Did you follow the sign?

I did not follow the sign.

Did you see the gigantic billboard that says Belmont Abbey College,

top ten colleges in the U.S., according to the U.S. News and World Report?

They've got them going both directions on I-85, so you can't miss it.

How did I miss that?

You missed it.

You know, I just want to say it's like I'm not going to confirm or deny whether or not we actually did this,

but it's like we prepared this segue. It is like that.

Because it just so happens that Belmont Abbey College is sponsoring this episode of Close Reeds.

David. I was on Belmont Abbey's campus last night. Really? What were you doing there?

I might have been retrieving my firstborn child.
