Welcome to True Crime to Go. I am John here with Jamie. That doesn't sound as fun as our usual true crime to go cases. It's not. Here's the thing. I found out about this case.

It popped up on a Tik-talk and I thought I need to talk about this immediately. So we're going to do it here on true crime to go and give a breakdown. It may come around to a full episode. We'll have to wait and see. I feel like this story is packed so we're going to just

take off man. So we're going to talk about a guy named Joe Araday and he was an innocent

soul and I don't know if you want me to go into it and do a little spoiler alert, but he was executed for crimes that he did not commit.

Those crimes included rape and murder of two local teenage girls that he never knew.

On January 6 of 1939, Joe, who was mentally challenged that said he had an IQ of only 46 and he

was 23 years old at the time faced death without really
