just got past the Thanksgiving holiday I feel like I've gained a lot of weight but had

a lot of time to work on true crime cast. Yeah man you've been cranking these out and

I have not been so I need to step up my game. Well this one's about forgiveness now I'm

just kidding that's not at all actually. All right man I appreciate all your hard work and

with that being said why don't you get the ball rolling. We actually talked off air about this

and you didn't know that this was leading in but there's always a big debate about gun control

in the United States there are over 40,000 gun deaths per year but even in this story this is a

unique situation that I don't think you're going to find in any of those other 40,000 cases. On

January 18th of 2022 so this year around 430 in the morning 911 was called due to shots being

fired at the 4,500 block of East Riverside Drive in Austin, Texas. When they got there they found

Ronnie Adeli Hernandez who was 30 years old who had multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced

dead at the scene and when they started investigating they found several interesting facts to tile

this together and the first was that there were several witnesses who reported seeing Everesto

John Paul Aguire who was 22 years old leaving the building shortly after the shots were fired.

The second detail is what makes this case so fascinating in my opinion once they identified

Hernandez and started looking into his background they found that he had been a victim of a shooting

before. In fact he had been treated for gunshot wounds just two months earlier in November of 2021.

Those injuries of course were not life threatening so police took their evidence from the first
