We got a true crime story in 10 minutes or less.

This is a weird one.

Yeah, I've seen you chuckle as you read through the outline.

It's got an interesting beginning, but the ending I think is even more intriguing.

Well, with that said, I never thought that I would be talking about male strippers, but here we go.

Here we are. When I was in middle school, I found out that my football coach had worked his way through college

by dancing at Chippendales.

That was never a good career opportunity for me because I'm the fattest, palest guy that I know.

One of the other teachers told us about it. We heckled him and we had to run.

Do you think it was true? Like, do you think this was legitimate?

When we brought it up, he got angry, so it wasn't like, oh, that's a funny joke situation.

But that's also when I found out that Chippendales was more than a chipmunk detective team.

Chippendales opened in 1979 and it was the first successful all-male strip club.

It was founded by Steve Banerjee, who was very focused on protecting the dancers.

So focused, in fact, the ended up going way too far.

In both 1979 and 1984, it was rumored that he had ordered some of his rival night clubs
