Welcome to True Crime to Go. I am John. I am joined by Jamie. We got a true crime story for you in 10 minutes or less. How are you doing man?

I'm doing really well. This is one that that I've really enjoyed researching and I mean don't want to spoil it but maybe no death today. So I always enjoy the no death days. So why don't you go ahead and get us rolling.

Today we're going to be diving into the shocking story of melody Johnson.

She was a wife accused of attempting to murder her husband with bleach.

According to court documents, Melody's husband Robbie Johnson served in the Air Force.

He discovered something sinister brewing with his morning coffee while stationed in Germany last summer.

Robbie's coffee started out tasting rather odd and then prompting him to investigate. He began buying chemical

testing strips which revealed traces of bleach. He really went to

investigative mode. Yeah my mind would not immediately go to testing strips.

It's to get my water checked and do some other things.

And maybe that's why he bought him to test his water, but bleach was likely not what

he expected, but he still needed to be sure where it was

coming from was it the water source was it a problem with the coffee he's buying or

something else so he set up a camera which captured footage of Melody getting

bleach out of the cabinet and walking over to the coffee pot. And you can see

these online as well and it's plain as day of what

she's doing. They returned to the United States at the end of last summer and

settled down in Tucson at the Davis-Monthon Air Force base and Robbie's suspicions persisted.
