on this day march the seventh in 1932 the starving Ford motor employees marched in protest for their improvement of work conditions outside the factory, right?

The company had laid off two-thirds of its employees due to the impact of the Great Depression.

People couldn't afford to buy food.

They had bread lines, the government set up.

And you oftentimes hear about people saying they were a product of the Great Depression.

They never threw anything away.

But it was a shit show, right?

And they were marching, but it was a peaceful march,

but it soon turned violent when nearly 50 police officers and Ford's security guards showed up on the scene.

Because they confronted the protesters and four workers were shot to death and 60 workers were injured and another worker died months later due to the injuries
