0:27.7	Riding Solo. And there's a lot going on in this world today. But let me tell you what happened
0:36.1	on this day in 1989. And in 1989, a severed head was
0:44.1	discovered in a paint can by a member of the Hopewell Valley Golf Club. It was later discovered
0:52.3	that Joel Rifkin, the Long Island serial killer, admitted to
0:57.4	killing a young prostitute named Susie in March of 1989.
1:03.8	He also dismembered her corpse, severed her fingertips, and removed her teeth to conceal her identity.
1:13.4	The victim was unidentified until 2013, when the victim was then identified as Heidi Balch.
1:25.1	So now, in present, Rifkin is serving 203 years to life in prison in New York because he was
1:39.0	already incarcerated for killing multiple people and authorities never pursued a separate prosecution in New Jersey for Barch's killing.
1:52.5	So that's what happened on this day in history.

2:31.8	The bodies of two young girls were found stuffed inside suitcases and buried in shallow graves on the east side of Cleveland on Tuesday.
2:45.2	One of the bodies is believed to be between the ages of 8 and 13 and the other around 10 to 14 years old.
2:56.2	And so far, neither have been identified.
3:01.1	The Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd said,
3:06.3	we're hoping to find answers. This is terrible. This is a tragic situation.
