Well, on this day in 2017, 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams were murdered in a wooded area in Delphi, Indiana.

The pair of friends were near the Freedom Bridge, and a man named Richard Allen said that he was in the area the day they were murdered, but denied any involvement in the crime.

An unspent bullet discovered by the bodies was tied to Allen's six-hour model P-226 handgun.

Alan was arrested in October of 2022 for the murders.
