Known as at Kirby is a boss on YouTube Instagram Twitter and TikTok, but welcome. I'm so glad that y'all are here today. I know that I have some male followers. So I hope that, you know, today's episode even though it is a little bit more towards geared towards the women that if you are listening that you keep tuning in and listening because who knows maybe you can send this to a sister or a girlfriend or a mom or whoever, but to my ladies.

We got a show for you. I am here with my good friend Tara Sun and we're going to really be talking about just like biblical womanhood and all the great things that comes with being a woman and God's amazing design and just what that looks like in modern day 2021.

So Tara, thank you for being here. How about you let everybody know who you are, what to do, what's your passionate about all those great things before we dive into today's topic.

Oh, my gosh, Kirby. I am super honored to be here and I love I mean, I remember the intro of bot and beloved was Kirby Minick and now it's Kirby Kelly.

I literally made me smile over here, but I am so honored to be here and thankful for your friendship and just your discipleship. It just in a little nutshell. My name is Tara Sun. What I do is I love getting to point women in a direction to help them know love and live God's word basically.

It started with an Instagram, a blog page, all those things about two years ago. I'm a newlywed. I also have heck yeah. I mean, I'm a month in as you record this. I'm a newlywed. We live in a small town. I also have my own podcast that I started just a big fire for helping women feel equipped in God's word to live it out to know God and just feel confident in who they are in Christ.

And so it's been such a gift to be able to do that. So so passionate about long coffee dates basically pouring into one another encouraging and being that listening ear and friendship because I totally believe that social media is like one of the most amazing tools to use for God's glory.

And it's just an honor to be able to do what I'm doing and then meet awesome people like you. So that's just me in a nutshell.

And Tara, you and I go we have a pretty far back in terms of like being social media friends. I don't even know what I really came about. I think it was probably through like a like a group chat or something on Instagram that I found you.

Yeah, totally. But then I really started following your ministry and I was like, wait, this girl's like legit.

Like she's so seriously, you're supposed to so encouraging. I just thank you so much.

I feel the same way about you. And I mean, you have been doing this whole thing. You're one of the OGs. And I feel so thankful to know you.

And it's so cool to be able to meet other women who are just so biblically rooted and founded. And it's just so inspiring to me.

It's helped me in what I've been doing. And it's also just giving me a lot of hope that we can use, you know, social media and all those things for God's glory. So amen, amen.

Well, let's just get on into it because this is going to be a great talk as I stated earlier for those of y'all who are tuning in.

We're talking about biblical womanhood. It makes sense. I'm a woman. Tara's a woman.

A majority of y'all listening are women. It's going to be a great time. And I think that this is such a good episode to do.

And I've been so excited to do this episode with Tara specifically just because I feel like women and ministry and God's calling and the culture we live in.

It can be really confusing. It can be really sometimes discouraging and disheartening.

I don't know. There's so much stigma, so much, I think, unpopular conversation around it. I'm just excited to break into what does God's word have to say?

What is the truth? How do we live that out confidently, comfortably, also uncomfortably because, you know, being a Christian is not always the most comfortable thing, but genuinely as well.
