I'm Erica Mandy. Thanks so much for being here. You're ready? Let's do this. Just hours before a truce was supposed to expire Israel and

Hamas reached an agreement to extend it and with that Hamas released another 11 people, including several

children, who have been held hostage ever since the initial attack on Israel

more than seven weeks ago. That brings the total number of released hostages

to 70.

And most have appeared to be at least physically okay.

Many more are expected to be released soon

since the ceasefire was extended for another two days.

Overall, officials believe militants could still be

holding up to 175 of them. On the other side Israel released more

Palestinian women and children, mostly teenagers, who have been in prison, accused of

crimes like stone throwing and

fire bombs during confrontations with Israeli forces. Dozens more were set

free yesterday, bringing the total to 150. The pause in fighting has also

allowed more humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip.
