I sat outside the courtroom with her for about an hour and a half, two hours her asking me questions.

And because we knew we didn't want us, we said we can't just take this child if there's this mom out there who might be looking for a child or whatever, but she showed up with a black guy and missing front teeth. I was like, okay, we're going to rescue this child.

Yeah, she was coming from a hard time.
