But first, you know, a few thoughts coming into the final eight of the playoffs on the favorite to win it all, the New England Patriots.

Last week as many of you know, E-SPNs, Seth Wickersham wrote a story that in essence put a very definitive end date on the relationship

between Bill Bellicic, the coach, Robert Kraft Craft the owner, and Tom Brady the quarterback of the Patriots.

Much has been written said about their relationship, and I have to expand a little bit on

two major thoughts about this, one of which I wrote,

one of which I didn't.

And I want to expand a little bit on something I wrote in my column this week about how, you know, I think it's absolutely amazing this triumvirate has lasted 18 years.

In fact, it's beyond amazing.

When you think that all of the great coach quarterback combinations,

coach quarterback owner combinations in history.

None of them have come close to 18 years.

Probably a 19th year in 2018 if you believe Bellachik and Kraft and and I think the biggest

takeaway on this is in every relationship think of your boss at work. Think of the most important person you

deal with every day at work. How many times have you left your office or left your place of employment, got in your car and said to nobody, that bleeped

he bleeped so and so, I hate him. I got to get out of here or I have to do something and I just

think that for three incredibly strong-willed men.
