Hello and a very warm welcome to film stories with Simon Brew.

I am Simon Brew as always. That's everything you need to know about me.

The aim of the podcast is, well, I'm here to talk of the stories of movies. The title does

sort of give it away, don't it? I talk about production stories, development stories, behind-the-scenes

stories, just those little tales that go to make the films that we know and sometimes love,

just that the films that we know and sometimes love. The movies I tend to pick for this podcast

have a mainstream leaning as a rule to them. I tend to pick for this podcast have a mainstream

leaning as a rule to them. They tend to be films I'm pretty much invested in. I always kind of

think lots of people tell the stories of films like Lawrence of Arabia and The Godfather, but

who's telling the stories of films like Turner and Hooch? Well, the answer to that is me. I did that

in a previous podcast, although I'm doing two very different stories for this week's episode of film stories.
