0:06.7	Podcast it is the Trojan Blast from Pac-10 Media Day 2009. We have audio from two different things of Pete Carroll. First,

0:19.5	Then we had a little media scrum after lunch with Pete Carroll and a lot of the different beat writers
0:24.2	from around the country talking to Pete Carroll.

0:29.7	Here's the first up is Pete Carroll addressing the media, Pack 10 Media Day.
0:34.0	Hey, I don't know about you, but I'm fired up to be here.
0:37.0	It's a new field.
0:40.0	It's exciting.
0:41.0	Something different going on in Pack 10 10. You know every year for the years we've been coming at this thing, this is going on here 9, we've always set our sights on maximizing our potential of a football team.
0:54.0	And we'll always look at getting out there and trying to figure out a way to be the very best we can be,
0:59.0	and wherever that takes us, that takes us.
1:01.0	And as we look at this season coming up, again, it's what it's about for us.
1:06.5	We're trying to maximize this opportunity to have a terrific football season with the kids that we have.
1:11.9	And it's fitting that I got Taylor with me today because this is the guy in our program that is just the epitome of
1:19.0	Maximizing his experience at USC he had a chance to go last year and take off and go to the league,
1:24.2	but he wanted to graduate and he wanted to be a leader in his program. He wanted to see what
1:28.1	is like to be a senior. And he wanted to be the best player he could be for his school.
1:32.0	And he wanted to maximize his opportunity to be the best when he could be for a school and he wanted to maximize his opportunity to be the best
1:34.7	when he went on to the next level.
