Well, I remember Donna and I's excitement, our third year of marriage,

when we were about to become first-time homeowners.

We were moving from Dallas, Texas to college station to begin leading a new ministry.

And we were excited. We had purchased a home.

So we loaded up our few meager possessions in a small U-Haul,

and we made the journey across Texas towards this new house.

And I'll never forget, when we turned the corner and were arriving on this call to sack,

we looked up and we saw our realtor nervously sweeping the driveway.

We were like, okay, don't sure why she's doing that, but we pulled up.

And when we got out, she was trembling. She was very uncomfortable.

And we asked her what's going on.

And she said, well, you know how you signed the paperwork and the deposits and all this?

Yes, she said, well, there was just one formal piece.

That is the current owner just had to sign some papers.

But he never showed up to sign.

So this is not your home.

You can't move in today.

And we're not sure what he's playing at, but we're not done.
