What's up everybody? It's Tuesday morning and I've got Tristan Littkey on the phone with

0:17.3

precision cut archery. That's something that was kind of introduced to me from a couple different people. One being Tristan I think

0:24.7

messaged me at one point and then Tim Gillingham was bugging me a month or so ago to look into this kind of

0:31.5

program he's doing a little bit more so welcome on the

0:34.7

show Tristan and tell everybody a little bit about yourself.

0:38.8

Yeah thanks for having me actually it was funny I was talking with Tim one random day probably about a month ago and he was somehow it came up that he was talking to you right after he was talking to me.

0:49.4

And I said hey you should see if Aaron wants to get in there and start poking around.

0:54.1

So I think that's how that all kind of came to be.

0:57.8

But as far as my background, I can give a little quick overview. I was kind of born and raised in

1:05.3

small town Minnesota so grew up doing typical small town Minnesota things you

1:10.3

know running around the woods with BB guns and bows and eventually 22s and shotguns and all that.

1:18.5

Nobody in my family in my immediate family hunted except for I guess my dad did once once I got old enough to

1:28.0

like rifle deer hunt and my dad's eye at interest he would go with me before I was old enough to go by myself.

1:34.1

But so a little bit different there. My grandpa did hunt so I got exposed through a lot of stuff

1:40.1

through him, not archery, but you know, rifle deer, like birds, small game, things like that.

1:47.0

So I kind of had a background of hunting, a background of the outdoors.

1:51.7

And I ended up getting my first bow when I was 16, saved up all my money from, you know, part-time jobs and things.

1:59.0

I got my first bow and at the time it was it was just a way to hunt more our rifle deer

2:05.2

season here is only like a weekend to a weekend one week long so I was saying hey if I get a bow I can go you know I can, I can go hunt from like mid-September all the way through the end of the year.

2:16.4

So I thought that sounded pretty cool so kind of dove head first into the archery thing, you know,

2:21.1

learn stuff the hard way, no kind of like training or things like that, just trying to figure things out.

2:28.0

And so just kind of, a hundred white tails here in Minnesota all through high school and college.
