Now, when we think of Trenton and we think of hockey,

Jane Hefford comes to mind, certainly right away.

We think of all the big moments that Jane was involved in internationally on behalf of Canada.

We think about her work with the PWHPA.

We may also think of someone like Mel Bridgeman, who went first overall

for the Philadelphia Flyers 1975, was the first ever general manager of the Ottawa Senators

at the tender age of 36 as well.

And if he hadn't been stripped of the captaincy by Pat Quinn,

would have been involved in what I think would have been the first captain for captain trade

when he went from Philadelphia to Calgary in exchange for Brad Marsh.
