My name is Jeff Gluck, and I'm along with Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsport writers for the athletic, and I'm here at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas,

one of my favorite stops on the NASCAR circuit, where I've just witnessed some history.

Tyler Reddick of 2311 has become the first driver in NASCAR history to open the season with three consecutive wins.

He is undefeated to start this year.

And in this new point system has quite a nice cushion right now in the race for the

regular season title.

So quite an unexpected development when you think about a year ago when Tyler Reddick

didn't win any races at all.

And it was like, oh, man, what happened to this guy?

He won the regular season title in 24.

I mean, they still had an okay year, but winless.

Now he's already tied his career high for wins in a season, three races into 2026, Jordan.

What a turnaround.

Huge turn on.

And there's so much to unpack from today. And I know people are going to look at this and be like, oh, there wasn't maybe the most exciting race, but there is a lot of bigger pitcher stuff to come from this. And I think you opened it by saying, you know, this is a NASCAR record and somebody wins three races in a row for the first time. Think about what we talked about so much over the off season. You go Daytona, Atlanta, Cota.
