The sponsorship lasts as long as you're able to do it.

Some can only sponsor for a few months, and some have been sponsors for decades.

The average Compassion sponsor does it for about five years.

But can I also say just being sort of in this nonprofit NGO world and knowing really how these things work, compassion is the real deal.

There are no joke.

This money is genuinely helping.
