Sorry, spoiler. That's where the plot thick ends. But also, my problem with the show is that she was never ugly to begin with. So it's like really disingenuous for them to call the show the summer I turned pretty. It's just like the summer I went through puberty.

But you know, like as a girl going through puberty, your mind, puberty, your mind just plays tricks on you and you think like everything's wrong. I'm ugly. Yeah, exactly. When you're absolutely not.
