Summary

On May 6th, 2010 something happened that rocked the world of high-finance to its core. One trillion dollars wiped off the US stock markets in a matter of minutes. Thousands of miles away in the suburbs of London, a young guy called Navinder Sarao was placing trades from a tiny bedroom in his parents house. Little did he know that he was now at the centre of a huge international investigation by the FBI, would face extradition to the US and potentially years in a federal prison thousand of miles away from home. This is the story of what happens when the little guy finds a way to cheat the establishment. A Somethin' Else production. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
