And today I want to touch on inner healing, healing from trauma and inner wounds, healing of the soul,

healing of the heart.

I want you to open the scripture with me, Isaiah 53.5.

Now, it's a complex subject to unravel in 40 minutes, but I'm going to try my best.

I'm going to give you an example.

So just pay careful attention and allow most importantly the Holy Spirit to speak to your

heart because every person in this place needs healing of the heart in one area or the other. We are always a work in progress. And as we allow Holy Spirit

to bring things up in our soul, when he brings it up, he has grace to fix it. He has grace to heal it.

He has grace to mend your broken heart. Isaiah 53,

verse 5 says this. Surely he has borne our griefs. Okay, if you don't believe it's sin to

underline in your Bible, you can underline the word grief. And carried our sorrows. You can

underline that word. There will be two main things that today we're going to focus on.

Yet we seem he's stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.

Verse five, but he was wounded for our transgressions.

He was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are

healed now i've had i've heard the scripture all my life since i've been in the church and

whenever the scripture was read most often it was read like during communion or before the time that we prayed for physical healing

But I've never paid attention to the verse four that before he addresses the health of your body the healing of your body

Jesus his mission was to address the health of your soul, the health of your heart.
