Hello, Bibblos family. It's about 3 o'clock in the morning here in Rome, Italy.

I couldn't sleep, so I decided to come down here to the obelisk of St. Peter, outside of the Basilica of St. Peter, right next to the Vatican.

This is where history says, perhaps legend, says that St. Peter was crucified upside down.

In the city that killed Peter, later made him a saint and claimed him, canonized him. And some would say, is the beast that was and was not and yet is.

Or pagan Rome that was cast down and then resurrected as papal Rome.

I have spent this week in Rome.

I've seen a lot of the sites.

I spent time with my family, with my sons, with some dear friends,

precious friends. My heart has been stirred, I think perhaps stirred like Paul on Mars Hill,

when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. This history states is where the Apostle to the Jews was killed and slain by a maddened

Emperor, Nehron. The Bible says that righteous men die and none man, no man, takes it to heart, that they are taken away from the wickedness

of trial to come. If this is where Peter died, this at least is a city, perhaps I'll say, where a lot of godly men have died and given their life in service to the kingdom of God.

And with that on my heart, it leads me to what I'm going to say next.

We're going to dedicate this week to my dear friend, my fellow soldier who has fallen in the field and who now sits at the king's table, Brother Ari Prado.

An original apostle was killed here, and my friend has passed away in service to the Lord both of them fighting for the great

King Jesus Christ many others will pass away in the days to come when it's my

time I pray that I go with the strength and the grace that brother Prado did and that

other great men and women of God have gone on before me as they have. We're going to play a message for you. One of my

favorites that Brother Prado preached. I know he blessed you. He blessed us here in Durham, North

Carolina, in Durham, North Carolina where I pastor and all over the country and around

the world he preached. We want to commemorate him. We want to honor him this week. I fly to his

funeral tomorrow. I go to say farewell to my friend and to be with his family and with others that loved him dearly.
