and maybe it's because I've been going through my own trials and afflictions recently in the form of menopause.

Oh, let me tell you something.

Hormones can be very brutal.

And I'm learning a lot.

I'm learning a lot about myself.

I'm learning a lot about what God is doing in my heart, what he has done, what he wants to do. So it's been

good, not easy, but good. And that is very typical for an affliction or a trial, for a believer,

because we have hope. We always, always have hope because we have Christ. And so I'm

hoping that through this episode as I walk through and to sort of talk about trials and tribulations

and afflictions that you will walk away encouraged and equipped to walk through whatever trial, tribulation or

affliction you might be dealing with right now.

So let's go ahead and dive in.

through trials. That's just it's not something we can escape. It's not
