Rob Griffin, who finally released this information publicly yesterday,

I say this, you have blood on your hands. If you

had just done your jobs properly there's a very good chance my beautiful boy would be

alive today. day.

It is without a doubt.

It is without a doubt that most every violent crime can and will irrevocably affect the communities

that surround it.

And after that damage is done, the common question often asked is, how could this have been prevented in the first place?

A majority of crimes are avoidable, but usually due to errors of oversight or a potential perpetrator falling through the proverbial cracks.

But at the end of the day, sometimes the most we can hope for in our current system, is that the laws

at hand should prevent a perpetrator from committing crimes

with the fear of prolonged imprisonment acting as a major deterrent.

But there are those who, for one reason or another still do the unthinkable regardless of the fear of punishment.

Crimes such as these that not only affect the community at large, but also impact legislation, creating a whirlwind

effect to respond to and improve from those cases that highlight glaring lapses within

our criminal justice or legal system, because, after all, if the law itself isn't going to stop someone, then what is?
