Well, you know, it's interesting because if I could have been any type of professional athlete,

I'd want to be a pitcher.

I grew up with Wellsey down in San Diego.

We're talking about Randy Henis, one of the UCLA pitchers.

But what other job can you have that has such great notoriety?

You know, you get to be part of the game, but you only have to work like once every four or five days.

It's not a bad gig at all.

Get to watch a lot of baseball, get to hang out in the dugout, and don't have to go through the daily grind and trying to get your body ready.
