We're breaking down 49ers OTAs, and it's going to be the last that the 49ers get together

because mandatory minicamp, that has been axed by Kyle Shanion.

He says, cool, 100% participation.

Trent Williams shows up and the 49ers are not going to have mandatory minicamp. They're getting

ready for to host some of those soccer games. We've got the World Cup coming to California. So that's

going to be a whole lot of fun. So I think ownership would really like the 49ers to get out of there anyway. So I think that's all coming together and it's going to be the end for the 49ers. But Kyle likes to get rid of some practices and let guys go early when they have 100% attendance, which they do now with Trent Williams in-house. And Trent Williams is at the podium, Crock, talking about his career and saying that it is

probably the last contract he will ever sign in the NFL. Does this mean we don't have to do

any of this anymore, any offseason? It's going to feel so boring in the offseason, not having

a Trent Williams holdout or a Trent Williams contract to talk about. It is, but I don't know, man. Trent Williams, I think he's going to get to the end of the year and say, you know what? Oh, man, I just got another first team all pro. Wouldn't mind playing again. But now what? Guess what? You guys are going to have to pay me like a top three tackle again? Because someone else is going to get more money again, right?

And he's going to look at that.

Let's do a little adjustment here before I come back again, maybe throw some extra guaranteed money on the end of this contract, even though I think there's already like nine years of void years on it. I think the 49ers is the only, this is one of the big things with the 49ers with their, you know, the way they have things structured with contracts,
